Consultant, Strong Authentication

Certified Security Solutions, Inc. (CSS) is a Seattle-based company with offices in Kirkland, WA, Portland, OR, and Cleveland, OH. We are currently seeking a full-time, salaried Consultant, Strong Authentication to work with our national and international clients.

Skills

The Consultant for Strong Authentication will have strong skills in authentication and general security technologies, with an emphasis on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate-consuming applications such as EAP-TLS, L2TP/IPSec, S/MIME, SSL, and EFS. Knowledge of digital rights management technologies and Microsoft's Certificate Services and Internet Authentication Service (IAS) is a bonus.

Candidates should have a working knowledge of networking and perimeter security/firewalls technology. An MCSE and/or CISSP is desired. This position will lead solutions architecture engagements for large clients and assist in the growth and development of the consulting practice. The candidate should have the ability to accurately scope and clearly propose consulting engagements.

The Consultant for Strong Authentication will also provide high-level research and analysis of current and emerging information security to Fortune 500 companies on a broad spectrum of topics. Past topics have included, but are not limited to: security policy and procedure; security best practices; identity management; the role of cryptography in the enterprise; and familiarity with ISO17799/BS7799 security standards. This position will also conduct assessment services for large clients.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years' experience in the IT security field.
7+ years of experience in strategic planning, implementation and systems integration, preferably within a consulting organization.
Background that demonstrates an ability to deliver high quality solutions to address security challenges faced by large enterprises.
Strong presentation skills.
Proven experience directing high-level consultants and industry experts, as well as the ability to consult with "C" level individuals.
Proven success utilizing a collaborative management style.
Must be customer-focused, a great communicator with excellent writing skills, a superb negotiator and possess strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
This position allows for a fair degree of flexibility in terms of home office location, but a fair amount of domestic and international travel will be required (up to 50%).
